In Rajasthan, the projection suggests that Congress may secure 96 out of 199 seats, with BJP expected to clinch 90 seats. To form a government in Rajasthan’s 200-member House, a party needs at least 101 seats. These figures might come as a surprise to the BJP, which had anticipated a return to power. The survey data indicates a close race, with 42 percent supporting Congress and 41 percent backing the BJP.
Turning to Chhattisgarh, the Congress is anticipated to regain power. Exit polls indicate the likelihood of Congress securing 40-50 seats out of 90, while BJP may obtain 36-46 seats and BSP 2 seats. If these figures hold true, it could be a setback for Congress, which aimed for over 50 seats this time around.
