Two major mistakes made during Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s tenure as Prime Minister, leading to decisions that affected Kashmir for years. The first major error occurred when our army was winning the territory of Punjab, but a ceasefire was declared as soon as the area was reached, giving birth to Pakistan’s occupation of Kashmir. If the ceasefire had been delayed by three days, Kashmir would be a part of India today. After experiencing the United Nations, I have concluded that expecting satisfactory results from there is unlikely. I felt it was a good decision to enter into a bracketed ceasefire. I believed it was a good decision, but this issue was not resolved properly. We could have explored better alternatives through further contemplation and discussion. I think the mistake made by us in the past still affects us today.
There is an objection to this. Cannot doubt. Jawaharlal Nehru himself has said this. What are you telling me? Nehru, Nehru himself has said, I am not. Whatever I read was written by Jawaharlal Nehru ji. And Nehru ji has reduced it a bit and said that it was my mistake, not a mistake, it was a blunder. So much land of this country was lost, so much land of this country was lost, that was a blunder Amit Shah said all this in Parliament. Let me know how you found this update by commenting.
