Athlete Andrian Mardare Qualifies for the Javelin Final at the Paris 2024 Olympics

Today, athlete Andrian Mardare qualified for the javelin final at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Mardare had a rough start in the qualifications, stepping over the line on his first attempt. His second throw reached 76.76 meters, but it wasn’t enough to secure a spot in the final.

However, on his last attempt, Andrian Mardare achieved the second-best throw of his career—84.13 meters. This is also his best throw of the current season. Mardare’s personal best is 86.66 meters, set in 2021. With this performance, Andrian Mardare finished 5th in Group B and 9th overall.

It’s worth noting that 30 athletes competed in the event, with Mardare securing the 9th-best result. The Olympic javelin final is scheduled for Thursday, August 8.
