- Public schools are closed for the federal holiday, and private schools and universities may also be closed.
- Individual businesses can decide whether to be open on Juneteenth, despite it being a federally recognized holiday.
- Five-Day Workweek Change (No Official Confirmation):
- There has been no official confirmation of a change in the working structure of banks to a five-day week. As of now, banks adhere to the traditional schedule, observing holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays, in addition to Sundays. Thus, banks remain open on Saturdays.
