Black Clover M: Rise of The Wizard King Goes Global: Anime-Inspired Game Hits Android and iOS

Games inspired by anime aren’t new, though lately, some titles have left fans wanting more. Black Clover M: Rise of The Wizard King, announced in 2022, finally went global this Thursday (30). This Android and iOS game draws from Yuki Tabata’s anime and manga world of Black Clover.

Much like Naruto, Dragon Ball, and One Piece, Black Clover joins the ranks of beloved Shonen Jump series turned into games. Rise of The Wizard King brings the anime’s universe to life in an RPG, giving fans a chance to experience familiar characters and settings in a captivating turn-based gameplay.

In the story, a world on the brink of destruction by a demon was saved by a mage who later became known as the ‘Wizard King.’ Years later, this magical world faces crisis once more. Asta, a boy born without magic, aims to become the ‘Wizard King,’ much like his childhood friend Yuno.

The game allows players to summon their favorite characters, build a powerful squad of magic knights, and set off on a journey to become the Wizard King. Each mage boasts unique roles and abilities, offering flexible character formations. For Brazilian fans, Portuguese is among the language options for text.

Before this global release, Black Clover has dipped its toes into gaming before. In 2018, they brought out Quartet Knights for PlayStation 4 and PC. They also had Phantom Knights for mobile that year, but unfortunately, it shut down in 2020.
