Fatal Drone Attack: 3 US Soldiers Killed, 34 Injured in Jordan

A drone strike in Jordan has killed three US soldiers and wounded at least 34 US troops, turning regional security into a crisis. Prior to this attack, Iran-backed militias attacked the al-Asad air base in western Iraq with ballistic missiles and rockets. The US President has blamed Iran-backed warfighters for this attack and promised to hold them responsible. The US Defense Secretary has also blamed Iran-backed militias for these attacks and has said that the US will take action at a time and place of their choosing.

Islamic Resistance Claims Attack

The Iran-backed militant group “Islamic Resistance in Iraq” has claimed responsibility for the attack. The militant group says U.S. civilian targets in Syria and Iraq were attacked in several locations by drone strikes based in the U.S. Although Iran has rejected reports of its involvement in drone attacks.

Iranian Foreign Minister

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Minister has said that this was done with specific political objectives to reverse the reality of the region. For further improvement, he said that these claims are influenced by these third parties.

Jordan has condemned the suicide attack on US troops, although according to Amman, the three US soldiers who died were not on Jordanian territory. They also add that the attack targeted the Altan base, which is on Syrian soil.
