Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, shared an optimistic update regarding the actor’s health. Govinda, who was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the leg with his licensed revolver, is steadily recovering. Sunita, addressing the media outside Criti Care Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, informed that the actor’s condition has improved significantly, and he will soon be shifted from the ICU to a general ward.
Sunita urged fans not to panic, reassuring them that with everyone’s prayers, Govinda is on the road to recovery. She quipped that her husband, known for his dancing prowess, would soon be back to entertaining his fans. The incident occurred when Govinda’s gun slipped while he was preparing to leave for Kolkata, resulting in a bullet injury to his leg.
Doctors successfully removed the bullet, and despite initial concerns about heavy blood loss, Govinda is now stable. The actor himself expressed his gratitude to fans and well-wishers through an audio message, thanking them for their love and support. Several family members and close friends, including his nephew Krushna Abhishek’s wife Kashmera Shah, have been visiting the actor during his recovery.
With Govinda’s recovery progressing well, he is expected to be discharged from the hospital soon, as confirmed by his family and doctors.
