Haryana School Bus Accident: 6 children died

Six children died when a school bus overturned in Haryana’s Mahendragarh district on the morning of Eid, 11 April.

Ghayal, who survived the accident, said that the driver was driving the bus at a speed of 120 km/h. When the bus came to a turn, it lost its balance and the bus overturned after hitting the canal.

This was a private school bus that was taking children from home to school. When the bus reached Canon in Mahendragarh, the same bus overturned.

Police said that the driver was drunk. The children injured in the accident were taken to a nearby hospital. The doctor gave more information about the dead and injured children. The doctor said that a total of 11 children were taken to the hospital, out of which many children suffered serious injuries. Many children have broken legs and small bones.

Haryana Chief Minister Naib Saini expressed grief over the death of children.

Nayab Saini said: I was hurt by the accident of a school bus in Kanina, Mahendragarh. My condolences are with the bereaved families who have lost their innocent children.

The local administration is ready to help the injured. I wish speedy recovery of all the injured.

The bus was going to school with a total of 40 children. The bus overturned at a turn due to which a crowd of people gathered at the sound of screams and cries of the children and everyone took the children to a nearby hospital.
