Haryana Schools Closed on October 4-5 for Election Prep

Due to preparations for the upcoming assembly elections, Haryana’s schools and colleges will be closed on October 4 and 5, 2024. The state government has designated several educational institutions as polling centers, requiring them to be shut to ensure smooth preparations. This closure applies to both government and private schools across the state.

The elections are scheduled for October 5, 2024, and the additional day on October 4 is used to set up voting stations. All teachers and election staff must report to their assigned duties during this period. Exams scheduled for these dates have been rescheduled to ensure no disruption to students’ academic progress.
