In the Toshakhana corruption case, which related to the illegal sale of gifts the former prime minister received from the government while he was in office, Imran and Bushra Bibi were earlier given 14-year jail terms in January. While Bushra Bibi was detained in her Bani Gala home after being designated a sub-jail, Imran was kept in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail. On Monday, the Islamabad High Court stayed the sentence.
