The three possible culprits of the Moscow attack are ISIS, Ukraine or Russia’s dark past. Why are questions being asked about Putin also?

The terrorist attack on Russia on the night of 22 March shocked the whole world. So far 133 people have died. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia will avenge blood with blood. However, who is guilty and from whom revenge will be taken is still not clear.

ISIS has taken responsibility for the attack. Nevertheless, Russia is strengthening its relations with Ukraine. At the same time, experts and former agents of the Russian intelligence agency are also putting Putin in the dock.

3 possible reasons for the Moscow attack and their characters

1 . Security breach

Experts believe that Russia has a history of mob attacks. Such attacks used to happen in the 1990s. When separatist fighters from Muslim-majority areas of Chechnya took over concert halls, hospitals and schools in Russia.

Inputs about the attack were also received from security agencies of western countries. Putin ignored these inputs. Putin accused Western countries of blackmailing him through such inputs. Experts believe that if Putin and Russia’s intelligence agencies had taken it seriously, the attack could have been foiled.
