  • Luxurious Features: The palace boasts 12 bedrooms and a total built-up area of 141,433 square meters. Among its opulent features are chandeliers, spa rooms, and high-end furniture.
  • Controversy: The extravagant spending on this palace has stirred controversy, especially given the state’s dire financial situation. Andhra Pradesh is currently under a debt of Rs 12 lakh crore. The timing and nature of these expenditures have been criticized.
  • Ownership: The ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) defends the construction, emphasizing that these buildings are government assets, not private properties of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
