At the Philadelphia event, Biden spoke about the family’s legacy and how it influenced his political career. He referred to their father, former US assemblyman and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. as the “only two political icons I had growing up.”

Kerry Kennedy, the family of the third-party seeker, introduced Biden and was joined by fellow siblings including Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, a former Maryland assistant governor; filmmaker Rory Kennedy; former Congressman Joe Kennedy II, Christopher Kennedy, and Maxwell Kennedy Sr.
Kerry Kennedy said there were “ only two campaigners with any chance of winning the administration ” and concentrated her attacks on Donald Trump, the plausible Democratic designee, including for spreading conspiracy propositions on climate change, vaccines, and namer fraud.

Egalitarians and Biden abettors have sought to fight Kennedy through political action panels prompting choosers to reject third-party campaigners and legal sweats aimed at keeping him off state ballots.
