So, De villiers played the last two years of cricket, delivering sensational performances for RCB. He played in a way with just one eye because he was almost unaware of the vision in his other eye. AB de Villiers said, “I often thought whether this could be the end of my career. I really didn’t want to play IPL or anything else. I distanced myself from everything in 2018 and then decided to continue with Test cricket once again. I wanted to try and beat India and Australia here, then retire again.
