The conflict on Saturday was centered around Al-Burj, Nazareth Maghazi, and Khan Younis, supported by intense aerial attacks. Palestinian health officials stated that casualties occurred due to the bombings. Within the last 24 hours, 165 people were killed and 250 others injured in Gaza due to bomb explosions. Hamas released a video displaying various attacks carried out by its fighters against Israeli positions in Khan Yunus. The video showed Hamas fighters engaging with Israeli tanks, armored vehicles, and soldiers.
Humanitarian Crisis Escalates Amid Hamas Strikes, Syria Airstrikes
Amad reported that Hamas conducted a relentless bombardment on the Ministry of Health, raising concerns for over 1.9 million people facing famine and displacement. These individuals lack basic shelter, food, water, and medical supplies. The United Nations previously stated that trucks coming in from Egypt provided some aid—limited food, water, and medicine—to the affected people, but the necessary provisions are still lacking, covering only about 10% of the residents’ needs.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, suspicious Israeli strikes targeted eastern regions of Syria. According to a report by a war monitor in Syria, a strategic border area with Iraq witnessed overnight aerial attacks resulting in the deaths of 19 militants supported by Iran. Some of the deceased were reportedly affiliated with Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist group, while others were Syrian militants.

It has also been mentioned that in the latest airstrikes, weapon caches from Iraq and an ammunition depot were affected. Meanwhile, tension persists in the southern Red Sea as a US warship intercepted and destroyed two ship-to-ship ballistic missiles fired by the Houthis. The US Central Command reported an attack on a Danish-flagged container ship owned by Singapore. Assistance was requested for the vessel. American forces also successfully neutralized two anti-ship ballistic missiles launched from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen.
Amidst the ongoing Israeli-Hamas conflict, Israeli forces continue their military campaign in Gaza and release further footage.
