Vicky Kaushal Sam Bahadur: Detailed Review

Have you heard about Vicky Kaushal latest movie If not then today let me tell you all. Let’s dive into the movie now Vicky Kaushal steps into the shoes of Sam Manekshaw in this film, ‘Sam Bahadur,’ directed by Meghna Gulzar, the same talent behind ‘Raazi’. It all kicks off from Sam Bahadur’s childhood days, where he’s going by the name ‘Cyrus’. But his folks are a bit worried about it since someone with the same name got caught up in a neighborhood theft last night. After that, we see Sam Bahadur straight up as a soldier, sporting his uniform, looking all strong and stern. He becomes part of World War II and heads off to Burma. He fights in the 1962 war and takes part in different battles, all of which you’ll catch in the movie.

Vicky Kaushal plays the character of Sam Bahadur in the film. It wouldn’t be incorrect to describe Vicky Kaushal’s outstanding performance in this movie if we’re discussing his excellent acting. He did a fantastic job! He engaged himself fully in the role of Sam Manekshaw. Vicky Kaushal has demonstrated charisma in all facets of the commanding officer role, including his demeanor, intuition, ability to make decisions, and communication style. It’s evident from watching him on screen how much work he must have put into this role. Like Sam Manekshaw, who gave his all to preserve the nation’s honor, he put his heart and soul into the role.

You’re in for a surprise if you believe a movie about the military and war would seem a little dull.Despite all the serious themes, there are some truly hilarious moments in this film that will make you laugh aloud. The amount of wit and humor that Sam Manekshaw may have possessed is astounding! This movie is full of these sweet, funny moments, even in the worst of situations; it’s not just about fighting and following orders from the military. He refers to Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as “Sweetheart” in passing during one scene. He manages to smile despite having been hit by nine bullets during the Burma war.

In the film, Vicky Kaushal seems to be the only one who has to worry about holding the attention of the audience. The other members of the star cast receive less attention than he does. Mohd is one of the other famous people in the film. Jishan Ayyub (Yahya Khan), Neeraj Kabi (Pandit Nehru), Fatima Sana Shaikh (Indira Gandhi), and Sanya Malhotra (playing Sam Manekshaw’s wife). But the performances lack the necessary passion, and the film fails to capture the stature of individuals such as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Pandit Nehru, and even Indira Gandhi’s political persona.

The complexities of war scenes are not fully conveyed in the movie. At one point, Sam Manekshaw makes an attempt to raise soldiers’ spirits by advising them to “wear bangles if you can’t carry a gun.” Its portrayal may not have worked well in the film, despite the fact that it is meant to inspire. There are a couple of these throughout. Vicky Kaushal’s performance, however, mitigates some of Meghna Gulzar’s shortcomings as a director. He keeps the movie together in the same way that Sam Bahadur protected national security.
