The Washington Post wrote about Kim Mulkey, LSU’s women’s basketball coach. It says she’s determined but sometimes causes division.
People awaited the report after Mulkey threatened to sue, calling it a ‘hit piece’ in the works for years.
But the story didn’t shock like expected after Mulkey’s outburst before a game. Instead, it portrays her as bold but grudge-holding, making her a controversial figure. Her focus on basketball excellence has left broken relationships.

Mulkey briefly spoke to ESPN as her LSU team readied for a game, just learning about the article.
“You’re telling me something I didn’t know,” Mulkey told ESPN. “So you’re the bearer of good news or bad news or however how you want to look at it. But are you really surprised? Are you really surprised by the timing of it? But I can tell you I haven’t read it, don’t know that I will read it, I’ll leave that up to my attorneys.”
