'Kalki 2898 A.D.' is yet to hit the big screens but the makers are already raking in handsome profits.

According to a report by News 18, the Prabhas-Deepika Padukone-Amitabh Bachchan starrer has been sold to multiple OTT platforms for staggering sums.

The Hindi version of Nag Ashwin's directorial has been purchased by Netflix for a staggering Rs 175 crore, marking one of the highest deals for an Indian film.

Meanwhile, the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions have been sold to Amazon Prime Video for an impressive Rs 200 crore. However, this news is yet to be officially confirmed.

Recent reports indicate that "Kalki 2898 AD" has achieved massive ticket sales on its release day across all language versions.

An industry tracker website reveals that the film sold over 1 million tickets on its premiere day. In pre-sales alone, the film garnered Rs 37 crore.

Predictions suggest that the film could earn Rs 200 crore on its first day, bolstered by impressive ticket sales from global markets such as the US.

Kalki 2898 AD, written and directed by Nag Ashwin, boasts a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

This magnum opus marks the Telugu debut of both Bachchan Sr. and Padukone, as well as their first collaboration with the Telugu superstar Prabhas.

Kamal Haasan takes on the role of the main antagonist. Additionally, the film features cameo appearances by Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, S. S. Rajamouli, and Mrunal Thakur.
