Pakistan: Nawaz Sharif's sons Hassan and Hussain Nawaz have been acquitted in three cases related to corruption charges.

These cases were a significant part of the legal troubles faced by the former Prime Minister's family.

In 2018, both brothers were linked to Panama Papers corruption cases related to the following assets: Avenfield Apartment chairman Al-Azizia

When he refused to cooperate with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation into these cases, he was declared a proclaimed offender.

Their father, Nawaz Sharif, the primary accused, was found guilty in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia corruption cases but not guilty in the Flagship case.

Since he was not prosecuted due to his absence (he was abroad), the court postponed his status as a fugitive until his final appearance.
